Available in 14K gold and 925 silver, the same design philosophy comes in two ways to wear. The 925 silver version includes a chain, ready to wear as a complete necklace. The 14K gold version is sold as a pendant only, made to pair with any 14K gold chain from our Effortless Chic collection.
Because every natural mineral differs in colour, texture, shape, and internal pattern, no two pieces are ever the same. Crafted by our local Dutch goldsmith, the one you receive is truly yours alone.
What to Expect
14K gold holds up well to daily wear, but it isn't immune to scratching or denting from friction and impact. The chain is naturally the most vulnerable part; pulling, twisting, and snagging are the most common causes of damage. Some dulling over time is normal; skin oils, product residue, and dust gradually settle into the surface. A gentle wipe usually restores the shine.
Daily Habits
A simple rule: last on, first off. Put your necklace on after skincare, perfume, and styling products, and take it off before anything physical. Tangling most often happens at night, when movement goes unnoticed. Saunas, hot springs, and alcohol-based sanitisers are best avoided as well.
What to Avoid
Chlorine from pools and hot tubs is particularly damaging to gold alloys over time. The same applies to bleach, household cleaners, and disinfectants. Home remedies are worth skipping too, toothpaste and baking soda are abrasive enough to leave micro-scratches on polished surfaces. Heat and steam should generally be avoided, and especially so if your piece includes gemstones.
Chain Care
When removing your necklace, always unclasp it first rather than pulling it over your head. Chunky knits and textured scarves can catch fine chains, so take care when layering. If a tangle does happen, don't pull — lay the chain flat and work slowly outward from the clasp end.
Storage
Store your necklace with the clasp fastened, either laid flat or hanging. Keep it separate from other pieces to prevent scratching. When travelling, use a pouch or small box rather than letting it move loose in a bag.
Sterling Silver Care
Sterling silver (92.5% silver) tarnishes naturally when exposed to air, moisture, and sulphur compounds found in everyday products. This is a normal surface reaction, not a defect.
Follow the same last-on, first-off rule. Remove your silver piece before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying any product. Store it in an airtight pouch or anti-tarnish bag when not in use.
To clean, use a soft, lint-free cloth and wipe gently along the grain of the metal, not in circular motions, which can create fine scratches. For more thorough cleaning, warm water with a small amount of mild dish soap works well; rinse thoroughly and dry completely before storing. Never leave silver damp.
Avoid chlorine, bleach, and sulphur-containing products such as rubber bands, wool, and certain papers, as these accelerate tarnishing. Avoid toothpaste, baking soda, and abrasive polishing cloths, which can scratch silver's relatively soft surface.
Silver-plated pieces require extra care, aggressive polishing can wear through the plating layer. If in doubt, use only a dry soft cloth.
When to Have It Serviced
If the clasp feels loose, links look stretched, the chain kinks sharply in one spot, or a setting feels unstable, bring it in before the issue worsens.

Need a different length for the silver chain? Please reach out to our customer service. We'll let you know whether resizing is possible for that particular piece. Custom sizing may carry an additional cost and a longer lead time, and because the piece is made to order, it falls outside our standard 14-day return window.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the piece is unworn, in its original condition, and returned with all original packaging. Return shipping is at the customer's expense unless the item arrives with a manufacturing defect.
Please note that customized pieces, engraved items, and made-to-order or one-of-a-kind mineral designs are final sale by nature.
