The Connection is a 14K solid gold chain necklace built with flat, even links that sit cleanly against the skin. It drapes consistently, layers without fuss, and holds a pendant without losing its shape, sturdy enough to wear on its own too.

The profile stays precise, the finish remains warm and refined, and the look stays minimal from every angle.

What to Expect

14K gold is well-suited to daily wear, but it isn't impervious to scratching or denting from friction and impact. Chains are inherently the most vulnerable part of a necklace, pulling, twisting, and snagging are the most common causes of damage. Some dulling is normal; skin oils, product residue, and dust settle into the surface over time, but a quick wipe usually brings the shine right back.

Daily Rules

A simple order to follow: last on, first off. Put your necklace on after skincare, perfume, and styling products, and take it off before anything else — showering, swimming, working out, cleaning, or sleeping. Tangling happens most at night, when movement is unnoticed. Saunas, hot springs, and harsh sanitisers are worth avoiding too.

What to Avoid

Chlorine from pools and hot tubs is particularly corrosive to gold alloys over time, as are bleach, household cleaners, and disinfectants. Skip the home remedies too, toothpaste and baking soda are abrasive enough to leave micro-scratches on polished surfaces. High heat and steam are worth avoiding in general, and especially so if your necklace includes gemstones.

Chain Care and Tangle Prevention

When removing your necklace, always unclasp it first rather than pulling it over your head. Rough-knit jumpers and scarves can catch the chain, so it's worth being mindful when layering. If it does tangle, don't pull, lay it flat and work slowly outward from the clasp.

Storage

Store your necklace with the clasp fastened, either laid flat or hung. Keep it separate from other pieces to avoid scratches, and use a pouch or small box when travelling rather than letting it move loose in a bag.

If Your Necklace Has Gemstones

Avoid chemical dip cleaners and ultrasonic cleaners unless a jeweller has confirmed they are safe for your specific stone. If a setting feels like it's catching on fabric, stop wearing it and have it checked; a loose setting is always easier to fix before a stone is lost.

When to Have It Serviced

If the clasp feels loose, links look stretched, the chain kinks sharply in one spot, or a setting feels unstable, bring it in before it fails. Most issues caught early are simple to repair.

Designed with three lengths in one: 46 cm, 43 cm, and 40 cm, it adjusts to different necklines and styling needs.
